  • 1.  Scheduling updates to client machines.

    Hi,

    How many ways can we schedule updates to client machines installed with SEP client?

    The one i came to know is in "use the default symantec live update server" can be used to schedule updates to client machines directly from internet(not from SEP manager). This method would also consume a lot of bandwidth. Is there any other way by which i can schedule updates to a group of machines on non-peak hours to avoid heavy bandwidth utilization?

    Hi

    It's depend on your client location.

    If Server and clients are in your same location then use the default LU setting.

    If clients are in Remote location then use the GUP on that Location.

    Try the below download if you required to create GUP.
