    SCOM or SCCM?

    This should work

Installing clients with Microsoft SMS 2003

    Have a look here:

Can Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager be monitored by Microsoft Operations Manager (MOM)?

    http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH105164

There is an idea for enhancement request regarding SCOM as well:

    Hi,

So what does these URLs do exactly. I have copied one of them to my browser and it came back with an "OK" status which i dont' understand??

The MOM pack can use the following two URLs to check health:

Basically what I need is a SCOM pack that will monitor SEPM health status, not sep client installed on the SEPM server.

    Good day,

Thank you for the links I've gone through them. My question is what does this URL monitors, I have copied it to my web browser and it returned an  "OK" status.

Does it monitor SEPM critical services?

if its ok, then your browser is able to talk to the sercars.dll (IIS) meaning everything is working fine :)

It will be basically the SEPM Web Server service on port 8014.

On SEP 12.1 secars will refere to Apache/Tomcat. For 11.x SEPM it will be IIS.

    Hi Rafeeq,

So does this pack look for SEPM critical events i.e SEPM services, virus outbreaks, monitoring performance of the server and availability of the server?

its mentioned as Manager health. I dont think it will alert for virus outbreaks. you can create notification in sepm for that.

    add this one too

    https://localhost:8443/servlet/ConsoleServlet?ActionType=ConfigServer&action=ProcStat
