Dear All,

I Have error during the Installation of information Server (RMS) :

"the Screen Resolution Is not Adequate for running RMS console and Information Server"

Hi Samir,

This error message appears if there are missing registry settings for Screen Resolution in registry.

Solution:

Note: Make sure that you backup your registry before making any changes.

Add Registry Values as per the Screen Shot and then after adding the Dword Values reboot the Server and Start the Installation again.

This applicable for Operating System- Windows Server 2003 Standard Server.

Create the  Registry Dword Value Entries in HKEY_CURRENT_CONFIG\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\VIDEO\{ACD474E0-F2B7-498A-A290-E03BB0E0780C-This is an Example.You should have a Different  Key Name}\0000
