    Hello,

     

    Is there's Script blocking option in SEP (11.x and 12.x)

    You need to use application and device control. You can use it to block such extensions that scripts use such as .bat or .reg

    I believe there is no such script available.

    One of the system having 11.06,getting error

    Microsoft office Access
    A problem occurred while Microsoft Office access was communicating with OLE server or activeX control.

     

    Is this becuase of SEP.

    Doubt it. But check your Risk and Control log. Or temporarily disable SEP to see.

    Found Article: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;295824,but this is relvent to Norton antivirus.

    We have not enabled the any script scanning.

    SEP doesn't have a script blocking feature, however, you can use ADC to do that if you wanted to.

    If you believe SEP is the issue, temporarily disable and test again to see if the error re-occurs.

    Just do you know, ADC has a rule to block scripts but it's unchecked in the default policy.

    It's called "Block access to scripts [AC7]"

    It's blocks file with an extension of .bat, .reg, .vbs, or .cmd
