Script to Clear out Backlog of Tasks caused by a Rouge Task

Created: 02 May 2014 • Updated: 09 May 2014 | 1 comment

Does anyone have a script or job to find the tasks hitting the IIS on the Package Server causing a back log of tasks on the SMP?

Presently I am using the SSE Tools to find the Package Servers that have enormous IIS hits, logging into that PS and running the SSE Tools again to find the EndPoints that have enormous IIS Hits.  Then I use RAADS to stop the Altiris Agent, Delete the folder for Task Management and restart the Altiris Agent.

This is a time consuming process to delete/remove these rogue tasks.

Is there a better way or a job to do this automatically?
