I modified our policies such that GUPs are enabled, and I executed remote command to update clients.

However, only a small percentage of computers in our environment have this latest policy, meaning they are bombarding the SEPM to get updated definitions.

Is there a script that pushes out latest policy to SEP clients on the same domain,

You need to troubleshoot the communication issue. Since, even if you export/import the policy it may not work later time.

this is unsupported though, you can try this

From a working client, Help and support > Troubleshooting... > Profile of policies > Export > policy.xml

and import it into non working client.
