  • 1.  Script for remove Corrupted Def or Occupied Disk space on SEP 12.1 Client.

    As per above link's manual steps to remove Corrupted Def or Occupied Disk space on SEP 12.1 Client.

    Is any way, we can run SCRIPT or Batch file on user machine & automatically removes the occupied disk space.

    There is no *official* script provided by Symantec for 12.1. Personally, I've not seen one contributed to this site.

    Is it okay if you get an executable?

    call support get Rx4DefsSEP

    then use Psexec to execute on clients remotely..

    If you have 11.x systems you can use rx4defs. here's the link and download

    Using the "Rx4DefsSEP" utility

    Take note however, it's not supported on 12.1 and I don't believe a tool exists for 12.1

    There is no script available for remove corrupt virus defination.
