Scripted OS Install help

This issue has been solved. See solution.

I have been trying everything for the life of me to get a working Scripted OS Install. I have a D600 that I like to use to build my HII. Lately due to small issues I have had to rebuild the HII more than we had planned to. So I figured I would take more advantage of the DS and use the Scripted OS Install job. I even found the documentation on here by trb48 on how to create everything. So after following that, I ran into even more headaches, Brokered request. I finally found out that request is caused something I had in the unattended.txt that I was importing. Still not sure exactly what was causing the Brokered Request, but I am past that. Now my problem is installing the network drivers. As instructed by trb48 I created a $OEM$ folder with the following driver\network\d600. The last folder has the network drivers for the Dell D600 laptop that I use. I even added that dir to the unattended.txt and made sure it was activated when I created the task. No matter what I do, it is not installing the drive. So I checked the C: drive and there is no Driver folder. I went back and checked the deploy folder and the underlying winOS folder for the $oem$ folder, and everything was there. So I went back to the laptop and checked the C: drive again and there was a $Win_NT$.~ls folder which was c:\$Win_NT$.~ls\$OEM$. But none of the files I put in there are there on the laptop. So no drivers folder and none of the other files I put in that $oem$ folder. The only plus I got out of following trb48's direction is that Altiris finally installs and some of the nifty stuff in unattended.txt worked, like removing outlook express. Now, yes I can install the drivers manually, but it would be nice to have the image connect to the DS correctly so I can use remote control. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Solution Found

I ended up finding the solution after searchign MS for unattended install information. I am an idiot. I missed the part where trb48 said to put everything in a $1 folder in the $oem$ folder. I just had everythign under the oem hence my problem. After i put it in the $1 folder everything worked the way I wanted.

Brokered request

I am sorry to say, but that was too long ago to remember exactly what it was.  I believe I ended up just remaking the Unattended.txt file from scratch and cleaning it up.  Try adding bits and pieces of your Unattended.txt a little at a time.  I think that is what I ended up doing and in the end everything worked or maybe I forgot to do the part that was causing the problem.
