    Hi All,

    Greetings from India!!!!!

We are testing the new version of SCSP 5.2. After setting up the management server and client we applied the prevention policy on the managed client. But the agent is not able to take the default prevention policy. After looking at the errors we found that the below error on the agent side as below:

Message: Policy Translation failed: [ProcessRegistryRuleNode] Critical Error- Registry path must contain two or more elements and start with \HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\, \HKEY_USERS\, or \HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\

    Service:processHIDSPolicyUpdate
    Disposition: Failure
    Operation: Translation
    Message ID: 10133

Kindly suggest for the error above.

Welcome!  Which policy did you apply to the agent?  Without seeing the policy, it sounds as if a change has been made to look for a particular registry key and that the syntax is incorrect.  If no changes have been made, then I'd recommend calling technical support.  They have a better ability to troublshoot and can do so in real time with you.

    Thanks.
