    Hi currently my scsp logs are send out via ODBC.

     

    Is it possible to send out via syslog?

    According to the SSIM Support Team, SSIM has a custom collector that is specifically designed for Symantec Critical System protection.

    I know of several Fortune 500 companies that are using SSIM and SCSP in conjunction with each other.

    You did not include the link to your article.  Please provide so I can share with the SSIM team to address any issues with the Collector.

    If your Syslog Application has the ability to read a database, you can pull the data using the from it, but you would most likely be using the ODBC connector like you currently are.

    SCSP writes everything to MSSQL only.

    However, if you are using the Symantec Security Information Manager (SSIM), there is a collector that you can install on the Critical System Protection Manager that will ship the logs over to the SSIM device.
