  • 1.  SCSP Manager cannot start, fail to connect to DB

    Dear all, 

     

    We encountered a problem connecting the SCSP Manager, we have checked the logs and found that it had problem connecting to the SQL DB.

    From further log checkings, we found that the scsp_ops account password seems to be wrong and thus the manager always encounter login fail in the SQL DB. We try changed the scsp_ops account in DB but problem can't be solved. Is the scsp_ops account password need to be changed too in the Tomcat server ? If so, how can we access the Tomcat server without opening from the SCSP Manager --> Admin page. As we can't logon to the manager right now.

    Moreover, for the accounts created in SQL DB by SCSP Manager installation, can we change those passwords ?

    You'll have to change the password in both the database and on the SCSP Manager itself.  Best way to get help is to contact Symantec support and they can step you through the process.
