SCSP Policy Live Update error

Has anyone been able to use the LiveUpdate feature in the Policies > Prevention/Detection View > LiveUpdate icon? I get an error "Directory liveupate\Downloads unable to be deleted" I do see a directory \Symantec\Critical System Protection\Console\liveupdate\Downloads and it is empty.

It may be a permissions issue on the folder to which LU is trying to write the files. I would manually launch LU and then immediately check the Windows Event Viewer under security events to see if there are any Access Denied messages relating to your operation. Once you have that, you can check the permissions on the folder to ensure it is set properly. If that doesn't work, come back and we can continue to troubleshoot with you.

Use the install media to import the Policy Pack and Report Pack updates. I have found this to be the most reliable method. They are located in the /Packs folder.
Most versions of SCSP have policy pack updates.
Note that a 5.2.9+ policy cannot be applied to 5.2.8 agents.
