Hi,

I'm new in SCSP product. trying to create a new detection policy. However, I can't include a built in policy. Include option is grey out. Attached is screenshot for your reference.

Authoring Tool

The Authoring Tool, which that screenshot is from, is no longer supported. In fact, the past few releases have not included the Authoring Tool.

The out-of-the-box Windows policies are what you want to use, and you get to those from the main SCSP console, not the Authoring Tool.

What are you trying to Monitor?

Somebody must have installed

Somebody must have installed that as a seperate add-on by contacting support, or possibly a reseller/consultant added it during the initial deployment.

The Authoring Tool has not been included with the product for several versions now.  I just checked the 5.2.8 RTM build and there is no Authoring Tool included.

You need to use the SCSP Manager console, not the Authoring tool, to deploy policies.
