  • 1.  SD 7.1: Incident reassignment takes 15 minutes

    Something fishy seems to have started happening and I am not sure from where or how. In the past few weeks, incidents that are reassigned to other users or groups take 15 minutes before they will leave the queue and get the new assignment. There haven't been any workflow changes and there are no errors in the logs at all.

     

    Basically you reassign an incident and have to wait. If you go back into that incident, even in 5 minutes, the new assignment has not been applied at all. Its almost as if the assignment is getting stuck. I have republished the SD.Escalation project just in case but that didn't seem to resolve anything. Does anyone have any other ideas?

    I saw this same issue in my system's and have my admins griping about it as well

     

    For us it was preformance of the web services that was the cause. First thing I would recomend would be to push your web app's into different worker process in IIS (this will help greatly with preformance). It has been recomended to put all of your feeders into there own app pool:

     

     

    Onces that is done do an IIS reset and see if you are still getting the slow speeds.

    I have already done that. The Feeders reside in an app pool all by themselves.
