  • 1.  SD 7.5: Sort Results on Manage Incidents tab

    We really like the Manage Incidents tab in SD 7.5, its a lot better than search on 7.1 as I've said before on the forums. What I wonder is if there's a way to modify the results at all. Even if we can't eliminate results, is there a way to have the rsults sorted when they're returned. With a mix of content that might be returned, having them sorted by date, or even better, IM number, would be nice.

    Any thoughts or are we out of luck and just have to look forward to the next version?

    I hadn't noticed that the results on the search page weren't being sorted by IM number already. I'll take a deeper look at this tomorrow when I have some more time. If the current version doesn't have the capabilities to change the sorting behaviour I don't see why we can't get this into the next release.

    Unfortunately there isn't a method with the current version of ServiceDesk to sort the results on the Manage Incidents page. With that being the case I've submitted a request to either sort the results by Ticket # or provide the ability to resort the results by clicking on the different column headers for the upcoming release.
