Hello all, I'm having the devil's own time of getting this product working ....

I followed the Installation guide, and when I get to the page about authentication I do NOT touch the admin@logicbase.com account, but i lick "Active Directory"
I then enter the details for the user account, in this case AltirisNSService and then the password. (I am logged on the box as this user)

the install continues and says that it completed successfully, then thows this error

ERROR DETAILS
Error Message:
Login Failed for User 'INTERNAL\SD7$'.

(My Domain is INTERNAL and the Server name is SD7)

Specs

Server: HyperV VIrtual server
4GB Ram
4 CPU
127GB HDD
Windows 2008

SQL - 2005 OFF Box

Thanks in advance
James

Sorry FOrgot to mention that I am unable to access the console from any machine, it just times out to an Authentication error

I was under the impression that it would pop up a 'logon' box ... i get nothing like that ...

Cheers

Do not use Server 2008

1st of all don't use Windows 2008, since it uses IIS7 and only IIS6 is supported. I know you can run compatibility mode in IIS7, but I have seen many issues running SD7 on Windows 2008. I would stick to the hardware specs in the release note, which say Windows 2003 64-bit.
Also, did you enable AD integration during the setup? Login as the admin@logicbase and check under master settings the ad part, also check under AD servers if there is a AD server installed.
