    Hi All.

Are there any script command to start the update policy?
I will update the policy after i installed a new sylink.xml.

    Thanks in advance.

right click on group and select update content,

on the client you can run updateconfig

smc -updateconfig ( Refer the below document, what symantec says about updateconfig)

Updates the configuration of the Client by forcing a heartbeat, thus pulling the latest configuration from the Management Server.
Note that this does not always change the "last check-in time" displayed in the SEPM console -- that value changes only when a client's status changes.
Heartbeats do not necessarily cause a status change, so the value of this may not always change.

Right click on the shield icon of SEP client and click on update policy.

    smc -updateconfig
Checks whether the configuration file on the management server is more recent than the configuration file on the client. The configuration file includes all the settings on the management server, such as policies, groups, log settings, security settings, and user interface settings. If the client's configuration file is out of date, updateconfigdownloads the most recent configuration file and replaces the existing configuration file, which is serdef.dat.
