Searching for files\folders from a backed up DFS Share (Backup Exec 2012)

As per the subject, is it possible to search for DFS backed up files\folders that were backed up via Shadow Copy? If so how?
Appologies if this is covered somewhere I have had no luck finding the answer.

I don't think so. You have to do a re-directed restore of the system state and then search.
Hypothetically the only way to restore the most recent file a user has deleted would be to go through each tape and location one by one?
