I am usingsep11mr4.

earlier when i was testing the communication between sep client and sepm through web browser it was showing "OK" status. but after using FastCGi for sepm now it fails and gives error as "You are not authorized to view this page" .

everything else is working fine now like client updates and reporting etc.

I am using http://ipaddress:8014

what should i do now.

when you use http://ipaddress:8014
it will always give page cannot be displayed
i'm not sure why you are worried with fast CGI and secars test
as fas I know ( sure about it) 

secars is used to test communication

the test is not between the manager or clients
its a test to check if the browser is able to touch IIS and access the secars virtual directory.

try running this rather with just ip address and port number the complete secars test is as follows

https://ipaddress:8014/secars/secars?hello,secars..

this will return OK no matter if you have loads of PHP configured...hope this helps
