This issue has been solved. See solution.

We are migrating from SAV10 to SEP11. There will be two IT groups involved in this project, namely the Security Team and Operations Team.

Myself coming from the Security Team, I need to write security recommendations for SEP11.  For example, what we feel should be implemented and how to do it, for the best possible protection through SEP 11.

The perspective of writing this recommendation is very much coming from the Security point of view.

Does anyone here has any resources that can help me with writing this recommendations?

Resources that I'm refering to includes: Security Best Practises Guide;  Security Policy Recommendations;

Thanks in advance.

Check the current issues with SAV 10. You could site examples or list all of the problems you've had.
Then, suggest the SEP feature to fix that. Paste some procedures from the manual.
You can start by collecting your data by getting the top infections, virus defs distribution and most infected group.
For the update distri, use the network layout (bandwidth availability) for adding GUP servers. For the top infected groups - add additional customized policies, and for the top virus - get the manual removal instructions.

I could go on, but I don't have much details to proceed. :D
