  • 1.  Security Role Manager problem

    The page for selecting Resources in the Security Role manager is not opening. I select resources in drop down and then it keeps processing....I am running CMS 7.0 SP5 on windows 2003 r2 with DB on a seperate  box. Please help.....

    Are you a Symantec Administrator?

    Any changes recently?

    Does it eventually time out?  If it does, what error is logged on the NS in the Altiris Log Viewer?

    Do you get the same behavior across multiple computers?  From the server itself?  Across multiple browsers?  With different usernames?

     

    My guess is if you access this from the server using IE7 as a Symantec Administrator you will have no issues.

    Because even being the Administrator I am not able to access the resources page.

    Did you access using http://localhost/altiris/console?  Is Protected Mode off in IE?

    ya i access the same URL,,,,
