I'm having issues creating a technician role in CMS.

I set them up with what I thought was appropriate settings with a custom role (cloned from symantec level 1 workers).

First issue I had was giving them permission to run jobs I've created.  I've tried various role setting checkboxes without luck. What I finally found to work was go to "show security role manager console"- and then in drop downs selecting my custom group, then tasks and select "jobs and tasks" and select task server permissions - run task.  This then was inherited to jobs below that group and they seem to be able to run jobs now.

However, package delivery tasks (under jobs and tasks), this same group still can't do.  They get a critical error (attached) when clicking any package delivery task (just to view it) which I assume is permissions based.  Log viewer just says "unhandled error on page."  If I try to run a job with one of these tasks in it, I get another error - definitely permissions/read level based, also attached.

Can someone point me in the right direction for setting up read access for package delivery tasks?  I've combed through the role manager console and must be missing it.  Every thing I click on has read access for the group.

Strangely, these tasks the techs can't read, they can right click and schedule and run.. but they can't tell if it was successful or not from the console without being able to view the job.

support got back to me on this, and it's now working

in case anyone else runs into this, we went back to "show security role manager console" - select my custom group - settings - pencil icon - check box for "deployment and migration" and then click save changes.  Then confirm the whole deployment and migration tree has read only access.
