We are currently using SEPM 12.1 RU6 MP5 with about 6000 clients.  We have 600+ clients that are VMs. We were considering setting up the Security Virtual Appliance to take advantage of the Shared Insight Cache.  However, we are using a ESXi 6.0 environment which looks to be unsupported according to the requirements.

Is there any other option to take advantage of the Shared Insight Cache or is this idea basicly scrapped?

If it's scrapped, what is the recommended configuration for Virtual Machines running SEP?

I see some references to using Symantec Data Center, but I assume that's an additional cost.  We already pay over 55k a year for the SEPM contract, so spending more is out of the question.

    Thanks in advance!

Thanks.  We'll go with the Network-based Shared Insight Cache.  Seems to provide the same benefit.
