I need to deploy SEE to a handful of laptops. No plans on integrating it with AD so I want to do a stand alone setup. I've installed the product per the documentation and have built the client installers. The problem is that after installing and encrypting there is no SEE login screen. On my pre SEE encrypted machines (using GuardianEdge EPHD) the users had to enter a username/password to even boot windows. I'm not seeing that option here - have I missed something?

Have you enabled the single singn-on while creating the package ?

No, I haven't. I thought the SSO was to allow for the system to use the PC credentials to logon. With EPHD (guardian edge) I had one username/password for my entire area of coverage. That's what I want to do now.

As part of the MSI creation there is an option in the framework set up to set the authentication method.  If this is set to do not require.... then you will not be asked for a password when starting the machine and it will go straight to the windows login prompt.

When copying large amounts of data to a USB, SEE appears to be unreliable in that the PC Win XP either crashes part way through  or on a Windows 7 it fails to copy all of the files.  This leaves the user with the problem of which files have been copied and determining those that have not.    Does anyone else experience these problems?   I have mostly rolled out the software, full disk encryption, framework and removable storage, from the management console on a dedicated server.    My users are very fed up!

    Thanks

Examine the framework package which you created. This will determine the login experience on the clients. @Wincy -your question seems to be different from the original posted it's probably better if you post it as a new topic.
