When a user is asked to register for an SEE account, there is an option to "Don't ask me again".

Does this hide the question for ever ?

Or will there come a point where they must register before they can log in ?

    Hi!

What authentication method are you using in the install pack? AD or single user?

    Hi Mark,

While creating a client package for Framework from the Server there is an option "Allow () restarts before forcing the first user to register"

() specify how many restarts you need to force a user to register.

    Hope this helps.

I already had a registered user, and I loged in with a new account and click on the option "Don't ask me again" and after the reboot, I loged off and loged in with the same user account and it did not promt me.

I then unregister the original user also from the SEE and rebooted the machine. It promted me to register now or cancel, there was not option for "Don't ask me again".

hope this gives you some idea.

Be aware that if you log a new user onto the PC with RSE installed, and do not register them, they will not have access to thumbdrives and any other drive that shows up as removable. Many optical drives on laptops are removable, so that user can/will lose access to data on CD/DVDs.

This is also reported by users as "I can't play DVD's on my notebook anymore."
