  • 1.  SEE Management Server Installation Error 27506

    I'm trying to install SEE Management Server 7.0.8 on a Windows 2003 Server with SQL 2008 loaded on the same server.

    Error is:  27506 executing SQL Script CreateGEMSDB Line 228 timeout expired (0)

    I've read, and I think tried all the suggested solutions on this forum:

    Mixed mode
    Surface Area configuration is set for remote access enabled is true
    Have tried various accounts to load (SA)
    Started SQL Server Browser Service

    Any suggestions where to go from here?

    Could you please make sure we have the Named Pipes and the TCP/IP enabled on the SQL Server Configuration Manager.

    This has to be done under "Protocols for <your instance>" and on SQL Native Client Configuration, under client protocols.
