SEE not accepting new AD credentials

I have a Dell laptop D630 Win XP pro that has been running SEE 7.0.0 for about 6 months without issue. We are changing passwords in AD and for some reason the user is not being prompted (as other ones are) to sync the new password with SEE. It is mainataing the old password for log in even after a reboot.
