    Hi all!

I am having a problem with Symantec Endpoint Encryption whilst using removable USB devices. If I connect a USB memory stick that have been encrypted by SEE, and then try to open Word or Excel, or indeed select File Open for open applications the following message appears:

    Windows - No Disk

    Exception Processing Message c0000013 Parameters 75b6bf7c 4 75b6bf7c 75b6bf7c

This is happening with a machine running Symantec Device Control and SEE installed and another with only Device Control installed. I tried the same USB device in a machine with neither of the Symantec products installed and it the error message is not displayed.

Any ideas regarding the cause and any possible solution would be greatly appriciated.

    Thanks in advance!

...it does sounds as if it is Device Control that is causing the issue, as this is happening on a machine with only Device Control installed.

Can you confirm if you're using SEE-Device Control, or the Application and Device Control within SEP?

SEE-Device Control has the option to suspend the policy temporarily so that normal use of all devices is resumed for a set amount of time.  What happens if you suspend the policy and try your applications again, what happens?

    Hi,

I've managed to resolve the issue now by amending the errormode value in the registry. Thanks for you assistance though!
