I have alot of issues with installing to a drive other than the C: for Livestate Delivery Server.

The error is always The Selected Drive is not NTFS.

After a few attempts to install(Both 6.0 and 6.1) it will go ahead and proceed and install. Is there a fix for this other than to just keep trying?Message was edited by:

Ok, maybe we are the only one's doing it this way.

This issue seems to only exist if you terminal in to the server to do the install. We have a centralized server environment, so most things are done remotely on the servers by either HP Ip Console(Networked KVM) or Terminal services.

So when you goto the physical server and start the install or work through the KVM this issue does not occur.

To prevent this from happen use the following methods; if the server a member server within a domain you MUST loggon locally to the box using one of the metheds below.

If the server isn't local make sure that when you terminal service into the box it MUST be through a zero connection.
If you are using Remote Desktop Connection it also should be zero connection.

i.e
From the run command line, type mstsc.exe /console if will open Remote Desktop Connection which will be a zero.

Just so that you are aware I done more than 80 servers this way.

I have seen this on several LSD servers I have built. The workaround I use is to log on to the Server with the local Administrator account. Works every time.
