    Hi,

I am using SEMS 3.3.2 - 15917 and connected to a windows 2003 server to do a LDAP lookup in Active Directory.

The win2003 server has exchange 2003.

SEMS is connected to the win2003 server, the test connection replied a succesful connection.

If I browse the the Base DN it shows my Active Directory.

If I click on view sample records it shows records.

My problem is when I go to users do a users search nothing shows up.

If I look under groups it doesnt show any users under everyone.

I followed this step by step https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5yEFQJ1dpSQ (Active Directory Sync with Symantec Encryption Management Server).

    What did I miss?

    Hope somebody have a solution.

    Thanks.

It sounds like you have it set up correctly.  LDAP sync will not show any users, it is to identify new users as they enroll with the Symantec Encryption Management Server, and sync their AD account at that time.

Until you deploy a client on a system and have a user enroll to the SEMS, it will not list any users.
