Semsrv keeps stopping itself

The Java Virtual Machine has exited with a code of -1, the service is being stopped. is the error I could find in the event logs
PLease Help

When does it happen?
Are you activating, deactivating, resetting a layer?
Is any of these layers using any java-based files?
