  • 1.  SemSvc.exe service getting stop

    I have sepm mr4 mp2 console on windows xp professional .  I am not able to login on console.
    SemSvc.exe service showing stopped, I started manually also but again it's showing stopped.
    Updation also not happening.

    Event ID- 1004- Faulting application SemSvc.exe .

    can you check the scm-server-0.log and copy the entries over here for analysis..copy the entry while you try to login and the service is in stopped mode..
