  • 1.  Sending a Package

This seems odd to me and happened this weekend. I sent down a 250 mb package to 40 PC's using console in Ghost 2.0. After the package was deployed, the machines rebooted and all came up with the Windows did not shut down properly, notification. I hit last known good boot and they all came up okay. I'm not sure if this is a me thing or not. Anyone experience this?

    Thanks

    Hi Wayne,

Was the reboot expected? (i.e. Did you execute any commands that may reboot the machine). Was the package successfully transferred to the clients?

The reboot was expected and the package did go down. But each machine came up with the Windows did not shut down properly and we had to go to each machine and choose last known good for it to come up.

    Thanks for the reply.

    Hi,

The only thing I can think of is if the package was executed too soon. But it should execute the command once the transfer is over. But not sure if Windows cached it. Did this happen to all the machines? Did it happen again after the first incident?
