SEP 11 & 3rd Party Centralized Logging
Updated: 21 May 2010 | 3 comments
This issue has been solved. See solution.
We have a 3rd party centralized logging platform that gathers logs from a variety of sources. It will accept logs that are sent according to syslog standards. How do I get SEP to send its logs to it?

From SEPM
You can configure external logging to Syslog or you export the logs to dump file.
for Syslog ( Log server) configuration
SEPM -Admin - Highlight Local Site (My Site ) --On the left hand --Configure External Logging
VMWARE-- SEP 12.1 vs McAfee vs Trend Micro
Thanks!
I knew I had seen it before. Must have looked at all the pages fore and aft of that... thanks
Facility Levels
Hi Vikram ,I notice there is a Log Facility with a default number of 6 next to it. I found documentation that says it can be form 0 - 23, but what are the differences for each number? .What is the most suitable one .
