SEP 11 Clients Not Upgrading from SEP 12 SEPM

  • 1.  SEP 11 Clients Not Upgrading from SEP 12 SEPM

    I have a question?

    I have migrated a number of SEP 11 Clients to our new SEP 12 SEPM.

    Some Clients upgrade easily and reboot, but different groups do different things, like some won't upgrade at all even after the auto upgrade is loaded. I verified that.

    I know the MS FW or SEP FW are turned off. UAC is off. 

     

    Any suggestions, on what I am missing and why they are not upgrading?

     

    Any assistance would be appreciated.

    These client which are not updated is online?

    Try to deploy the package using Deployment wizard and check

    Hi,

    Could you please provide SEP_INST Log available %Temp%.

    In Case windows 7 you can try to Uninstalled Microsoft Security Essentials and check again

    Hi

    Please check the following

    If there are Windows 7 clients please check whether the Base Filtering Engine Service is enable.

    Check whether you have Protect Client from Registry enabled in ADC policies

    have you scheduled the upgrade? is the client communicating with the SEPM?

    can you remove the package and tag it for the same group?

    Hello,

    Have you check manually status on the Client, what is the running version?

    Share SEP_INST.Log of the system

    Did u have temper protection enabled?

    If yes then u have to provide the password.

    disable ADC policy about the client protection rule if it has been set.

    Hi

    Which of the SEP Version you are deploying on the Clients?

    What the schdule you have configure to Auto Update the Clients?

    Clients OS is 32 bit or 64 Bit?
