  • 1.  SEP 11 RU6.3 won't install on Windows 7 64bit, any idea's ?

    The SEP install just keeps rolling back.

     

    tried the various run LUPDATE.EXE then run Setup.exe , delete the pendingfilenameoperations registry keys.

     

    Still fails with the same error:

    there are two keys, you need to delete ;one is session manger and one is Autoupgrade check this doc

    Language setting should be set to english.

    You can use the Regmon from sysinternals, filter msiexec.exe; check to which registry key it stops to ; 

    run the msi install package this would give  you a pop up saying pending file rename; check the corresponding registry key.

    Can u try with installing unmanaged client and then replace sylink if managed client is required.
