Endpoint Protection

Hi,

I am thinking of upgrading from SEP 11 MR5 on SEPM and clients are all different version from mr 5 to ru7.  We dont normally upgrade to latest release of any product but looking at the bug fixes from ru7MP1 to ru7MP2 scares me.  Any major problems with the latest version of SEP 11ru7mp2?

In case SEPM 11.0.5002 MR5 to 11.0.7 MP2, then in that case you need to migrate to the SEPM version of 11.0.7000 OR 11.0.7101 first; and then to 11.0.7 MP2

This release can only be installed over these previous SEP versions:

• RU7 (11.0.7000.975 and 11.0.7101.1056)

So, your upgrade path should be as below,

SEP 11.0.5  -- > 11.0.7000 (RU7) OR 11.0.7101 (RU7 MP1) ---> 11.0.7 MP2

You might be interested in seeing the latest Release Notes for the upcoming RU7 MP2 version. This build's version is: 11.0.7200.1147.

There are no such Issues Reported with RU7 MP2 version.
