*Symantec Endpoint Protection 11 RU7 MP3 can only be upgraded from RU7, RU7 MP1, or RU7 MP2. Do not upgrade this release over earlier versions. It must be installed over RU7, RU7 MP1, or RU7 MP2.

*Windows 8 is not supported

Does this  RU7 MP3 fixs the problem with making Lotus Notes crash ?

I have a plane to upgrade next week and we have to know if this problem has been solved.

Looks like it may according to fix notes

Installation of SEP 11 causes Lotus Notes plug-in to crash
Fix ID: 
2513096
Symptom: Lotus Notes Plug-in crashes causing user-specific Notes data directories not to be created.
Solution: Some internal pointers were not correctly initialized. Fixing this resolves the issue.

I've used my serial but it did not show up anew version, RU7 MP3.

I've tested today, still make Lotus Notes crash.

I looked at the Tamper protection log, everything seem to be OK.

What should I do now ?

Can / have you put the Lotus Notes binary into the white listed application ?

I have this problem from RU7 MP2, SEP was trying to block "nsd.exe" via Tamper protection and I had tried to add a centralize exception but it was not work.

 

For a new upgrade, Tamper Protection log showed me that it allowed "nsd.exe" but the problem still exist.

 

any idea guys ??
