    Ok so I just installed SEP 11 in our lab.. enabled NS6 connector and all is working..

    now im documenting and getting ready to install for our production environment...

    i do not see it documented anywhere if you have remote sites.. to use their local servers to download the nav defs....

    anyone have a link or document???

    I am not sure on a link to documentation, but I suggest at the very least to use Group Update Providers at each remote site. Depending on how large each remote site is, you could overwelm your WAN links if the clients were always getting defs from the SEPM. Instead have one machine from each site get the defs from the SEPM to distribute to their local clients.

    I believe the administration guide speaks about Group Update Providers.

    I agree.  For all remote offices, I would set one client as the GUP.  Here are some links for you that I think you'll find helpful:
