  • 1.  SEP 11.x - Export policy from SEPM?

Is there a way to export the current policy from the SEPM for a group (policy.xml file)?

I have a machine currently off the network which needs the latest policy. How do I get it the latest policy while off the network?

I see that can do this from the client but I can't find anything in the SEPM.

How to manually apply the policy from a Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager (SEPM) group to an Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP) Client.

righ click on the policy you will get an option "export" copy the file to the new server and try to import.

    for eg.,

if you want to export AV & AS policy

click on the desired policy and click on export, copy the file to new server

    go to the new server

you will get an option "Import an antivirus and antispyware policy" - click and import the new policy to the new server.
