When I changed OS from XP to Windows 7 I've lost the ability to "right click" a file or folder and have the possibility to "scan for viruses"

Is that feature lost in Windows 7 or is it a configuration issue?

We have seen the same issue on Windows 2003 Server.

You are using 64 bit version? In 64 bit os and in RDP sections you will not get  "right click" a file or folder and have the possibility to "scan for viruses"

As I told in my earlier post in 64 bit OS if you right click on a file or folder  "scan for virus" option is not available up to now.In future release you can expect this feature. There is an  product enhancement request is already present in the idea section of this forum and it is telling this feature is in development
Ref:Context menu entry for "Scan for viruses" on 64-bit platform.
