Ok Just bought this brand new Dell Latitude E5500 with windows 7 32bit.
Everytime I install SEP:SBE 12 and reboots it blue screens on me. I cannot get OS to startup in normal mode. I have to go into safe mode and do a system restore to the point before sep was installed.

    Any help would be appreciated....

Are you installing the latest SEP 12 (12.0.1001.95)? Only this version is Windows 7 compatible.

Go to https://fileconnect.symantec.com/licenselogin.jsp?localeStr=en_US and enter your serial number to get the latest version.

Or if you are a BCS customer, then go to https://www-secure.symantec.com/platinum/login.html

Did you do a upgrade or did you do a Un-install of Un-supported version and Installed the supported version..
as you have to follow the re-install procedure.

Tamper Protection alerts when something is blocking symantec product.

So this might be a threat ( might not be )
