Endpoint Protection Small Business Edition

  • 1.  SEP 12 and Windows Server 2008 R2 Web Edition

    Hi,

    I installed Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.0.1 on a Windows Server 2008 R2 Web Edition.

    It seems that the firewall doesn't work. I don't see the network threat protection tab  when I start the program.

    Any idea ?

    Once you reboot the server and check.network threat protection needs a restart to appear.

    I had the same problem (https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/forums/sep-12-missing-network-threat-protection). Evidently not all SEP 12 builds support 2008 R2.  The box I received had a sticker on it that said "Windows 7 and Server 2008 R2 Support".
