SEP 12 Client Upgrade

This issue has been solved. See solution.

Created a test group under my main group and added XP/WIN7 VM's running SEP11 managed clients to test and monitor the 11 to 12.1 upgrade process.

Selected the 12.1 32bit version install package, full protection and default install features and set the Upgrade Schedule "From and To" the same and nothing for 3 hours now.  I even ran the policy update on the installed 11 client, nothing.

Any ideas?

What version of SEP11 are the clients running?

If you look under C:\Program Files\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager\Inetpub\ClientPackages on the SEPM, you should see a bunch of folders?

If you look in the three most recently created/modified, do you see any xdelta packages?

If you untick the "Upgrade Schedule" option does that have any effect?   The from and to piece are the times during which the clients will randomly request the package..

One folder has xdelta

As I understand it, setting the "from and to" times the same starts the deployment immediately.

The client upgrade pushed overnight but still did not deploy in the timeframe I set as stated above.
