    We have SEP 12 RU4 Client but cannot find LiveUpdate in Control Panel. Where is LiveUpdate located?

    I don't believe it there anymore

    You can invoke "SepLiveUpdate.exe" from C:\Program Files (x86)\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection\<version>\Bin

    About SepLiveUpdate.exe

    Brian, I would like to set LiveUpdate to go through proxy, not run LiveUpdate per se.

    yea and I think it goes back to your thread yesterday...I took more of a look at this and to configure the proxy for clients to get updates, do this:

    Go into your LU policy

    Server Settings

    Configure Proxy Options down at the bottom

    That should be it

    The one I mentioned yesterday was only for submissions...

    No, what I mean is, there is a user who has SEP 12 and is looking for the LiveUpdate icon in Control Panel. How can he set the LiveUpdate proxy from his computer.

    Needs to do from the SEP client

    Open the client and go to Change Settings >> Client Management >> Configure Settings >> LiveUpdate tab >> Configure Proxy Options

    From here, options can be configured.
