SEP 12.1 and Quickbooks Pro 2012 Issues
I have many discussions on issues with using Quickbooks and SEP 11.x however I am using SEP 12.1 and am still experiencing the same issues.
Event Viewer:
Log Name: Application
Source: QuickBooks
Event ID: 4
Description: An unexpected error has occured in "QuickBooks Pro 2012": Got unexpected error 5 in call to NetShareGetInfo for path \\<SERVER SHARE>\Crystal2012.QBW
The error occurs randomly and occurs whenever the application is in use or opened an left idle. This intermittent error occurs on all the computers that need to access quickbook.
QuickBooks: Pro 2012
SEP: Small Business Edition v12.1.1101.401 (Release), RU MP1
How can I resolve these issues?
I also see the following reoccurring error in the event viewer:
- An unexpected error has occured in "QuickBooks": Returning NULL QBWinInstance Handle

All options are installed on the client computer. On the server where the Quickbook Database is, only the Antivirus and Spyware option is installed.
Is NTP installed?
