Before last week , SEP11.0.6 and workstation 8 could work together on my windows 7 x64 system.
But when I upgraded SEP from 11.0.6 to 12.1, vmware virtual machine with bridged network could not get ip address from my dhcp server. The network status in my virtual machine changed from enabled to unavailible, and then from unavailible to enabled, repeated several times. At the end, a notice show me which indicate that there was a ip address conflict.
If I disabled the firewall, the virtual machine could get correct ip address from dhcp server. My SEP installed with all features and with default settings.
So I called 800 and opened a case. He did not solve this question via remote control my computer.
The last, I did the following:
--uninstall SEP and workstation;
--reboot
--install SEP 12.1 and reboot
--install SEP 12.1 RU1 and reboot
--install vmware workstation 8 and reboot
--make sure firewall keep enable and start my virtual machine
But the problem occured as before.
Somebody can help me solve this question?
