    Posted Jun 13, 2011 02:10 PM

I have several workstations that I have installed sep 12.1 and ran with no problem. When I  tried to uninstall sep 12.1 and reinstall sep 11.0.6300.803.

The uninstall seems to work ok, I get the reboot message, they when I try to reinstall to orignal (11.0) It does not work.

The push completes ok , but the install just seems to stops, no erros, or any other indication,Sep is not installed.

    Any thoughts.

    Hi,

Are you getting reboot pending message while installing ?

If yes, open the registry and navigate to

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\SessionManager and locate
PendingFileRenameOperations and rename it to PendingFileRenameOperations2 and then try to install the product.
