    Hi,

If you have over deployed clients, SEPM console will give you messages on home screen.

But your all the clients will received (including over deployed clients) updates from intended sources only with Enterprise Edition.

SEP 12.1 comes with pre-defined notifications and one of the notification is for Over deployment status.

You can check at Monitors--> View Notifications--> Notification conditions

If you think you are using correct license and still SEPM is showing over deployed status in that case follow this article

Article : SEPM is showing over deployment of clients

I hope it will help you !!!

you can clean the clients that have not connected to SEPM for X number of days , set it to 1 day and truncate all the logs. Then the alert should go off considereing the number of client count is equal or less than the license.
