    Hi,

My customer managing 2 SEPM servers in 2 locations with no replication, from Symantec license point of view, the license are combined for both locations.

The question is, can i use the same serial number/ license file for both 12.1 SEPM servers?

    Hi Mohammad Bamya,

You have several Symantec Endpoint Protection Managers (SEPMs) in your environment, with some of them interconnected (by replication or sharing the same database). You have received a new Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1 license file for the whole environment, and would like to know what to do with it.

To get the answer check this article

How to manage license file when there are several Symantec Endpoint Protection Managers in place?

Also please go through following articles

I hope it will answer your question.

    Hello,

A Symantec Endpoint Protection license applies to the Symantec Endpoint Protection clients. For instance, in a network with 50 endpoints, the license must provide for a minimum of 50 seats. Instances of the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager do not require a license.

A Symantec Endpoint Protection product license is applied to an entire installation regardless of the number of replicated sites or domains that compose the installation. For instance, a license for 100 seats covers a two-site installation where each site has 50 seats. Sites that are not joined through replication are considered separate installations and require separate licenses.

    and

License seats apply equally across product versions. For instance, a license covers installations where version 11.x and 12.x clients are both deployed within the same site.

    Check these Articles:

    Licensing enforcement rules

    http://www.symantec.com/docs/HOWTO55135

Can a single license be split between multiple separate Symantec Endpoint Protection Managers?

    Hope that helps!!

    Hi Guys !

Is Bamya and Srikanth's Issues same???

You just need to ensure the number of seats in your license file cover the number of SEP clients managed by all SEPMs
